|
|
SO, I went through Gone2Korea to find a job and they sent me this company. First, I was interviewed by a woman in the states and then five minutes later another woman from the Talking Club offers me the job and sends that contract.
I was very excited but the mixed reviews on the Talking Club and the speedy turnaround have me concerned. Does anyone have any advice?
Is it a good idea to take this job?
The school I'm supposed to be sent to is in Mokpo, if that helps.
Any replies are welcome. Thanks for your time. |

I am working at Talking Club in Donong, Namyangju, Seoul. I can't talk from a lot of experience, but I have heard of some situations that aren't the most pleasant to work in. But my time here, so far, has been incredibly enjoyable and my director has been very understanding, even keeping the previous foreign teacher on for an extra week to show me the ropes and to help me get used to teaching the classes.
I don't know if that will go for all or even most of the Talking Club franchise, but I hope this helps, ease any concerns you (or others) might have. If anyone has other experiences with Talking Club I would like to hear of them. |
