No, an ESL employer has never refused to pay me, but I have encountered delayed payments due to bureaucratic BS and incompetence. Mad

Yes I was laundered in Omnoi, an outskirts city of Bangkok. After a month of difficult working conditions, I received an email from Oe Oe on the day of my first due month payment. She billed me for a year escrow and billed me for real and false apartment costs that had nothing to do with my employer. That reduced my due salary to one tenth. She then refused to pay even that until I sent back email teacher forms half of which I had been unable to access. Needless to say I received not one baht from that employer. Watch those criminals. Their names are Oe Oe, Mr Harry, Khun Rod and Nana. They are most despicable because they prey on foreign teachers who because of thai school rules are forced to work technically illegally.
