Hello everyone Greetings from China! We are finally back in the classrooms teaching our great but spoiled students and I am getting a lot of emails asking me what it is like teaching here in China. The lifestyle here is more laid back, especially since we are now back to normal after 5 months of lock-down and on-line Zoom teaching. This week-end my partner and I went camping and trout fishing in Huairou and had a great time. China is a fun place so long as you do not expect it to be "like back home". The culture here is completely different - not better or worse - just different. If you can adapt and be friendly China is great addition to your resume. The SAIC and SAFEA registered TEFL school employers only applies to China, where 30% of TEFL teachers end up working. ALthough yu can go directly to the SAFEA and SAIC websites, they are in Chinese and not easiy to navigate.

To find the white-listed China TEFL teacher employers that are registered in ENGLISH there are only a half dozen sites that are current, some more than others. Here are the ones that I use...

Yes, off course i agree that we will have less problems and risks working for SAIC -licensed schools that are SAFEA-registered but finding them is a mjor task for most of us. Here's a tip to make that hunt a lot easier...
