|
|
Hello!
I give a private class to 2 teenage boys who are only there because their parents make them. I have found it increasingly harder to find material that interests them and to keep their attention. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can make this class more fun? I'm stumped. They primarily want to study grammar and back up their school work, but I think this is way too boring and it shows. They are strong at speaking but as they are teenagers full of angst, get too embarrassed. Any suggestions?
Thanks

it's very difficult to teach students especially if they are not interested in your class. if forced to, it will only be useless because they won't learn. i think you should find some ways to make your teaching a little bit fun to get their attention. |

Hi dougle_2k! You can make your study sessions more fun by making it more competitive. Boys, especially teenagers like that. And a little competition doesn't hurt either.Hope it works for you too! _________________ Rebecca Hartstrom |
