Hi everyone,
I'm kind of new in this forum and would like some advices on an offer.
I'm Singaporean and recently I recevied a phonecall from a guy who claimed to be a doctor and that he has an offer in Seoul.
The position is that of an English teacher teaching disable children with muscular dysfunction in Seoul.
From my understanding, Korea only offer visa to the 7 native english speaking countries. Therefore I am rather wary if this is a scam. When I asked how did he manage to find my contact he said his secretary found my contact online along with 100 others. And when I enquire the name of his organization he said ESL[dot]com.
Anyone has any idea on this?
Please let me know as I am unsure if I should continue by sending him copies of my documents.
cheers

Hello Pikoko
Welcome to the forum.
I would say that it is a SCAM.
However, the website is genuine but the doctor appears not.
The website ESL.com is an educational guide for international students to study ESL programs. Here you can request Information for English as a Second Language (ESL) programmes from universities, colleges etc in America and Canada.
I would contact them and ask if they are recruiting teachers
Their contact address is info@studyusa.com
